A scaled up plant to handle an acidic and high TDS electroplating effluent from the gold jewelry division of TITAN, Hosur was installed based on micro algae technology of Phycospectrum Environmental research centre (PERC), Chennai evaporating 2 KL per day without generating any sludge. Average input TDS of 58000mg/L and a TDS of 65000 is maintained at the plant consistently.
